Two ceremonies, three meals served, four outfit changes, all day photography coverage and an immense amount of joy. Shalini & David’s wedding day at the Sablewood, tucked away in the heart of the Catskills, was one for the books. These two brought together their friends and family from all over the world to celebrate their love and honor both of their cultures.

One of my favorite parts of the day was the traditional Hindu ceremony, specifically the Saptapadi ritual, when the the newlyweds had their garments tied together and walked seven circles around the ceremonial fire in the Mandap to signify their friendship. The entire day was rich, colorful, and full of meaning. Shalini & David put so much time and energy planning their wedding, which included a LOT of complicated logistics, but with the help of their loving family and friends and incredible team of vendors, it was a perfect day.
