THE EXPERIENCE
Your day should look and feel like you, so come as you are. Let go of long shot lists and whatever you saw on pinterest. Genuine moments that are unique to your day can't be scripted. My job is to hold up a mirror to my clients and reflect back at them not only all of the beauty I see, but also the emotions they’re feeling in that moment.

Savor each moment and let the day unfold as it will, and trust that I’ll document both the big and small moments. I want you to let go of the pressure to be picture perfect, because the best photos happen when you’re fully in the moment with the person you love most.

The most frequently asked question I get from potential clients is how I make my subjects feel comfortable. And the answer is pretty simple - I’m a human first, photographer second. Before your wedding I’ll find out what you’re most excited and nervous about, who your favorite people are, whether you’re a champagne or tequila person. And while we’re working together, I’ll be there to squeeze your hand when you’re anxious, help you navigate tricky family dynamics, and wipe those happy tears and wispy hairs away. This camaraderie usually results in trust - trust that I won’t make you do any weird poses that don’t feel true to you, trust that when I’m hyping you up saying you look hot that I really mean it, and trust to be your authentic selves.

One month before your wedding I'll send you a massive questionnaire asking about timelines, family dynamics, and a million other details and we'll either video chat or meet up in person to go over all of your answers so I can make sure I'm 100% in the loop on your plan.

08. Best Day EVER
You'll receive a full preview album (AKA the Sparknotes version of your day) with around 100 edited photos within 3 business days of your wedding to hold you over while I work hard on editing your full gallery!
09. Preview Album
Time to re-live your day! You'll receive a link to your full online gallery within 10-12 weeks of your wedding day. I deliver as soon as I possibly can, so if your photos are ready before the deadline of course I'll send em your way!
10. Full Gallery
Your photos aren't meant to live on a screen! You and your family can order prints straight from my built in professional lab right to your doorstep. I also offer custom designed keepsake albums as an add on. This takes all of the work out of this homework assignment and gets your photos in your hands ASAP.
11. Print Those Photos
You didn't think you were getting rid of me that quickly, right? I love keeping in touch with my past couples and I'll always be here to photograph all of your future life events (or just hang out and catch up!)

Do we need an engagement session?
This is up to you, but I recommend one for a few reasons. First, my style of photography works best when we've gotten to know each other a bit. An engagement session is the perfect time for us to hang out and spend time together before your day. It's also a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, and practice makes perfect. It's totally natural to feel a little bit nervous or awkward when you're not used to having your photo taken, but your engagement session will make you two feel like pros by the time the wedding rolls around!

I sure do! Few things are more exciting to me than exploring somewhere I've never been. If your destination is over 4 hours from Salem MA, let's chat and I can provide you with a custom package.

How many photos will we get?
You can expect to receive 50-75 final hand-edited images per hour of coverage. After your wedding day, I'll remove any photos you wouldn't want or need (people blinking, blurry or duplicate shots, etc) and edit and deliver the rest! Don't worry, I won't withhold any images I think you would want.
DO WE NEED A 2ND PHOTOGRAPHER?
This totally depends on the type of day you're planning! While I'm confident in my ability to shoot all of my weddings solo, I recommend second photographers for larger weddings, or when couples are getting ready separately and the timeline doesn't allow me to be with them both. They can provide another perspective to your day and an alternate angle of every situation. We can chat more about this option and how it applies to your day on a consultation call!
DO YOU SEND RAW PHOTOS?
Nope! I don't send any un-edited/raw files. most of the magic happens during the editing process, so without that step your photos are only halfway done!
Are you legit?
You bet! I have liability insurance and can provide your venue with a certificate if needed. I bring backup gear including multiple lenses, camera bodies, flashes, batteries and memory cards. I shoot on two memory cards at once, so I leave a wedding with an automatic backup, then upload the photos to multiple hard drives and the cloud. In addition to being an artist at heart, I'm a business woman by trade (hello BS degree collecting dust in my closet), so I will always bring my professional A game to any wedding or session.
when will we receive our photos?
You will receive a full preview album with around 100 edited photos within 3 business days of your wedding, and the full gallery within 10-12 weeks. For couple sessions, full galleries are delivered within 3-4 weeks. The turn around time might seem long, but it's only because I pour my heart into hand editing each photo and want to give your gallery the attention it deserves.
