Photos are permanent keepsakes of the fleeting sights, sounds, smells, actions and emotions happening right now. They feature your favorite people, places and things - all frozen in time. Opening up your old photo album years from now can have the power to transport you and allow you to relive the best days of your life all over again.
My goal is to always create art for you out of the moments that are unfolding right in front of my camera. I’m always trying to tell your story - whether I’m capturing those main events like your vows or first kiss, or just some of the more mundane moments like the dirt on your shoes, the hand holding under the table, or the wrinkles of your grandmother’s smile. I’m a sucker for the details and I aim to really see each and every person who finds their way into my viewfinder. Each wedding day is completely unique and I believe that the best photos happen when you let go of expectations and let yourself be fully in the moment with the people you love the most.
I only take on a limited number of weddings and sessions per year to ensure I can invest my heart and soul into getting to know your story so I can create the best photos possible for you and your loved ones. My best work is always made when we are mutually excited about working together and trust each other wholeheartedly. That being said — I understand that I will not be the perfect photographer for each and every couple.

DO WE NEED A 2ND PHOTOGRAPHER?
A second photographer is included in both of my full wedding packages to ensure you receive full day coverage with multiple perspectives and alternate angles of every situation. For smaller weddings and elopements, I’m confident in my ability to shoot your day solo, but we can always discuss adding one on a consult call.
Do we need an engagement session?
This is up to you, but I recommend one for a few reasons. First, my style of photography works best when we've gotten to know each other a bit. An engagement session is the perfect time for us to hang out and spend time together before your day. It's also a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, and practice makes perfect. It's totally natural to feel a little bit nervous/awkward when you're not used to having your photo taken, but your engagement session will make you two feel like pros by the time the wedding rolls around.
How do you make your clients feel comfortable?
I show up on your wedding day already having an understanding of your values, how you actually want to spend your day and how much time you want to spend posing for the camera, who your VIPs are, what you’re most excited/nervous for. This camaraderie usually results in trust to be yourself around me and my camera. I’ll never make you do weird poses, but we’ll definitely have a lot of fun! I just ask that you let go of any expectations and just be in the moment. That’s when the magic happens!
DO YOU TRAVEL?
I might be based on the North Shore of Massachusetts, but I can get to Logan airport in 20 minutes flat. Traveling and seeing different parts of the world keeps me inspired, so I’m always excited to hop on a plane to document your big day. I’ve gone as far as Greece to shoot a wedding and I’d love to keep adding to my list. Feel free to inquire for a custom quote.
HOW MUCH FILM DO YOU SHOOT?
I’ve been shooting more and more film every year, but I wouldn’t call myself a true film photographer since your gallery will still be mostly digital. I’ll catch all of the big important moments on my regular camera to be 100% sure they come out okay, and supplement with plenty of film candids and portraits. Your gallery will most likely be 75% digital and 25% film.
Are you legit?
You bet! I have liability insurance and can provide your venue with a certificate if needed. I bring backup gear including multiple lenses, camera bodies, flashes, batteries and memory cards. I shoot on two memory cards at once, so I leave a wedding with an automatic backup, then upload the photos to multiple hard drives and the cloud. In addition to being an artist at heart, i'm a business woman by trade, so I will always bring my professional A game to any wedding or session.
When will WE GET OUR PHOTOS BACK?
Full wedding galleries will be ready sometime between 8 and 12 weeks. For couple sessions, full galleries are delivered within 5 weeks. My turn around times might seem long, but it's only because I pour my heart into crafting you the perfect gallery. I develop and scan each film exposure and hand edit each digital image with love. I’m a slow and steady worker, but I believe my dedication to the post production of your wedding gallery is something that sets me apart from the rest.
WHAT DOES full day COVERAGE MEAN?
Offering “unlimited” full day coverage really allows me to tailor the photography timeline to each wedding. No day is the same, and after years in the business I’ve realized that agreeing on a set number of hours so far in advance has the potential to do everyone a disservice. While it usually shakes out to 7 to 9 hours of coverage (from the tail end of you getting ready through the beginning of an open dance floor), it will depend on the size and the logistics of your day, which we can figure out as we get closer.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE PART?
Weddings are the best, but I absolutely love getting invited back into my past clients lives to document all of their milestones beyond the nuptials. Photographing everything from new homes, to pregnancies to newborns and growing families is the ultimate compliment.
