Cat & Ryan’s summer wedding took place in some of Massachusetts’ most historic and scenic venues. From getting ready at the charming Garrison Inn to exchanging vows at the beautiful Immaculate Conception Church, and finally celebrating with an elegant reception at the Italian-inspired Crane Estate— every moment was as gorgeous as it was special.
The day began at the Garrison Inn in Newburyport, MA, a boutique hotel with classic New England charm where Cat and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready. The natural light pouring through the windows downstairs made for a beautiful backdrop. We also took advantage of the Garrison Inn’s adorable tea room, with its bright pink walls adding a fun and vibrant touch to Cat’s bridal portraits.
Nestled in the heart of Newburyport, the Immaculate Conception Church was the perfect setting for Cat & Ryan’s traditional Catholic ceremony. With its grand architecture and timeless beauty, the church provided an elegant backdrop as the couple exchanged vows.
Following the ceremony, the celebration moved to the stunning Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA. Perched atop a hill with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, the estate is a masterpiece of Italian Renaissance-inspired architecture. With its grand gardens, marble terraces, and historic charm, it’s no surprise that Crane Estate was a filming location for Greta Gerwig’s Little Women.
Cat & Ryan’s reception was filled with joy, heartfelt toasts, and lots of dancing under the stars. Guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the manicured gardens, followed by an elegant dinner under then tent.
From the morning giddiness to the lively dance floor, Cat & Ryan’s wedding was a true reflection of their love story—classic, romantic, and full of joy. It was an honor to document their day, and I know their love will only continue to grow as beautifully as it began.
